Sungai Way Clay Pot Bak Kut Teh

For the best Bak Kut Teh that I’ve ever tried in KL is this place, situated in Sungai Way, or near to SS3. Albeit, numerous claims saying that Klang has the best, I dont really think so. Some friends has recommended one is Salak South, but I haven’t try that yet, so I’m going to stick with this as the best one :)

For Wee Sang Kee, I just love their thick soup and special rice to go with the meat. It’s a mix of slight herbal and dark sauce, not peppery.

Mum’s Place at Damansara Perdana

I have been recommended by quite a number of people to try this restaurant in Damansara Perdana. However, till now I haven’t get the chance to be there yet. The below are some comments and picture taken from KY Eats in a forwarded email. Have a look at it.

Cincaru, Soft Shell Crab, Fried Fish, Steam Egg

KY Eats:
Mum’s place is a nicely decorated, slightly upper class restaurant in the new hip residential area that is Damansara Perdana. The place is furnished with lotsa wooden artifacts, similar to Bumbu Bali at Puchong, if not more extravagant. The place was rather busy and we had to wait for our table. However, service was brisk once we were seated.

Crispy Pork and Asam Kembung Fish from Serdang Weng Heong

I suppose most of the serdang people will know where this shop located. I sells roasted pork, chicken, asam fish and some herbal soup.

I was brought there by one of my colleagues last year. And just paid my third visit last week. It’s worth writing a review about it as I really like the asam “kembung” fish. It’s fresh and the spice used makes it more tantalising !!! The “siu yok” is another recommendation.
